The B.A. in Computer Science is designed for students who prefer more space for interdisciplinary study with a double major or minor in another field while preserving a strong computer science background that is excellent preparation for a career in computing. The B.S. in Computer Science is recommended for students who want to pursue technically focused careers that require strong mathematical and scientific preparation and those interested in computer science graduate studies.

Major Entry Requirements
- Complete 24 units and have an overall minimum GPA of 2.00
- Complete CSC 110 and 211
- Earn at least a 2.00 cumulative GPA in all CSC and MTH courses required in the Computer Science BA program that have been completed at the time of application for transfer from University College
- Complete URI 101
